In may 2006, The Prophet and Brennan Heart joined forces and started M!D!FY. At first a label where Brennan Heart could develop his own sound and vision on the harder styles of dance music. Nowadays the label is growing and there are more releases coming by other artists.

M!DIFY is an pun of the technical notion MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface (see below) and the word "to modify". The MIDI age (analog studios) has passed us by in the years and we modify the sound of our music step by step. Mainly because of new audio techniques. Eventually these two totally different words can be seen as the basics of the idea and compassionate feeling behind M!D!FY

M!D! does not transmit an audio signal or media — it simply transmits digital data "event messages" such as the pitch and intensity of musical notes to play, control signals for parameters such as volume, vibrato and panning, cues and clock signals to set the tempo. As an electronic protocol, it is notable for its success, both in its widespread adoption throughout the industry, and in remaining essentially unchanged in the face of technological developments since its introduction in 1983.
